DIGITAL LEAGUE OF ASSESSMENT PROFESSIONALS
(Assessors bringing value)
When becoming part of DLAP, you will be able to receive a professional designation. This is not a qualification; this is a designation that will enable you to increase your value to the workplace. DLAP will provide you with professional recognition in your role as an assessor.
If you require a qualification of sorts, DLAP partners with industry-leading service providers who are able to offer you these. Please feel free to contact them for further guidance. (Click here)
DLAP subscribes to the Assessment Principles of VACCS, and for every assessment conducted the assessor needs to ensure that these are applied. As the baseline of any assessment, from formative and summative, recruitment, performance management, systems analysis etc, these principles ensure that the human factor is maintained.

Quality Councils, SETAs govern a sector’s education, training, and quality and Manage National Qualification Frameworks (NQF’s). DLAP is a body guiding the quality of assessors. SETAs would traditionally register constituent assessors against qualifications against their scope, which still remains, however, DLAP sets an industry standard for professionalizing what an assessor does when registered QC/SETA/UNI
DLAP seeks to professionalise the assessment fraternity. It is not a verification function, rather a professionalisation function
You will gain industry recognition which you can add to your name/profile, pretty much the same as a CA has to professionalise his/her professional career and own the designation of CA, you would already have the qualification as assessor, you now ‘proof’ that you are indeed a professional that knows how to utilise the qualification against set benchmarks. These are the further benefits of the different membership options:
